The Neu de Cotó team
Neu de Cotó was born during lockdown, when Sara's pregnancy prompted me to sew a few things for her baby. I decided to open an account to showcase my designs, and what started as a hobby turned into a small business.
After a few months of developing the project, I realized I could have a more significant impact by focusing on unisex fashion and consumer awareness.
I decided to focus my offering on unisex fashion for adults, with the goal of offering options to all those looking to dress in accordance with their values. My approach is centered on creating timeless designs, designed to transcend ephemeral trends and endure over time. And here we are, creating clothing with purpose and love.
Mireia – Designer & Founder
I was born in Barcelona in 1995, with one foot in the city and the other in the mountains. I've been living in the Catalan Pyrenees for six years, and although I couldn't decide between the smell of salt water and the silence of the mountains, both are part of me.
I've always loved fashion, but it was moving away from the city that made me realize the true cost of consumerism. This shift in perspective prompted me to understand fashion in a more conscious way, aligned with my values and lifestyle.
Fashion remains my refuge and a way of expressing myself, thanks to the inspiration of my creative and free-spirited mother, who taught me everything I know. Together, we shaped what Neu de Cotó is today.
This project also bears the name of those who have accompanied me on this journey. Thank you for making it yours!
Sara - Cutting & Sewing
Hello, I'm Sara, a soul full of the sea who has been sailing these mountains for years.
I'm the one who cuts and sews your clothes and probably the person who helps you when you have any questions about models or sizes.
I take care of the cutting and sewing, and I also support Pep with administrative tasks when necessary.
I feel infinitely proud and grateful to be able to be part of this beautiful project.
Pep - Administration & Management
Hello! I'm Pep, and I've been part of this great team for two years. I'm a business manager, specializing in tax and accounting, but I decided to pivot my career to pursue my true passions: nature, technology, sports, and crafts.
I combine my professional experience with my love for the natural environment and innovative technological solutions. My goal is to contribute to the company's sustainable growth by providing fresh, practical ideas that align with our commitment to the environment.
I handle all the administrative, management, and accounting aspects (as expected), in addition to working on screen printing and helping with the final production details, such as rivets.
When I'm not working, I love exploring nature, DIY projects, and exercising. I'm excited to be part of this team and to be able to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with all of you.
Luckily, we have many more people helping us.
We are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by wonderful people who work hand in hand with us on this wonderful project and who don't hesitate for a second when we ask for their help.
Sandra, our faithful companion, always giving us her best advice, helping us with shoots, and modeling. Thank you so much for being here, my friend!
